4th Annual Operation Cinderella… is much more than a dress
ALYCE Paris is proud to have contributed to the 2014 Operation Cinderella being held on March 29, 2014, at Lawrence University in Appleton, WI, through our ALYCE CARES program.
“Once Upon A Time…,” those words bring images of princesses, fairy godmothers and magical kingdoms. For many little girls, the years spent growing up are a time of care and safety and fairytales. BUT, for some life is a little more difficult, and disappointments and the reality of their family situations has them feeling a lot like Cinderella: The Cinderella in rags. Operation Cinderella’s goal is to bring a little “magic” back into a young girl’s life. The way Operation Cinderella does this is by holding an event where underprivileged girls are provided a beautiful prom dress, shoes, bags, accessories… all for free! They get a dress… but Operation Cinderella is much more than dress.
March 29, 2014 will be Operation Cinderella’s 4th year giving care and value to the young girls who attend. Along with getting what they need for prom they also get pampered at the event by having their hair and make-up done and receive a gift bag full of girl friendly goodies. Everything is donated. Coordinating with school guidance counselors and civic minded individuals and companies Operation Cinderella is getting ready to assist 100 girls. If you would like more information, or would like to donate please visit: www.operationcinderella.blogspot.com.
Much success to Operation Cinderella from ALYCE Paris!
